Microdis Electronics is rapidly expanding the variety of wireless products, and supported applications, where one of the key factors are antennas. Our portfolio consists of carefully selected, reliable and high quality antennas, fulfilling all demands of the modern wireless world.

 

We supply the most typical shapes widely used in such applications as AVL/fleet management, security or telematics, as well as more specific products, up to the customized solutions. We offer RoHS compliant antennas, manufactured according the ISO/TS 16949:2002 standards. 

 

Wide portfolio of technologies, shapes and mounting options, makes it easy to find the product exactly fits into the application. The general selection is :

  • Active antennas - with built in LNA, to compensate the losses of the cable
  • Passive antennas - with or without the cable
  • PCB, OEM and Patch antennas - to be integrated by the customer

The most typical GPS/Galileo and Glonass antennas :

  • magnetic - mounted on any metal surface, some models are equipped with the adhesive set to be used in case of no metal around
  • body mount - to be mounted in the hole with the nut
  • adhesive - to be mounted on any surface as dash board or windscreen
  • OEM modules - to be built into the customer application

The most typical GSM/UMTS antennas (dual, tipple or quad band, UMTS):

  • magnetic - mounted on any metal surface
  • body mount - to be mounted in the hole with the nut
  • adhesive - square, round or strip
  • rod - telematics antennas to be mounted directly to GSM/GPRS terminals
  • wall mount
  • OEM antennas - OEM antennas on PCB

  • GPS/Galileo and GSM/UMTS, Bluetooth - two outputs
  • GPS/Galileo and GSM/UMTS, Bluetooth and WiFi - three outputs

We are pleased to offer cable length, and connector type according the customer requirements.
The most typical cable lengths are :

  • 2.5 or 3.0 meters - for GSM, passive antennas
  • 3.0 or 5.0 meters - for GPS active antennas
  • 10-15 centimeters - for GPS and GSM OEM modules

The most typical connectors are :

  • GPS : SMA male, MCX male, SMB male
  • GSM : SMA male, FME female, SMB female, MMCX male angle
  • GSM OEM modules : MMCX male angle, GSC female angle
